The Etisalat Foundation for community development and welfare joined hands with the Resalet Nour Ala Nour ( Rnan) to develop the children department at Om El Masryeen Hospital.

Under the development project, the building of the children department was renovated and the equipment and apparatuses were upgraded.

The hospital’s children department receives about 9,000 patients monthly for daily checkups and surgeries.

Director General of the Etisalat Foundation for community development and welfare Sarah Adel attended the opening of the hospital’s children department after renovation alongside Head of the Giza Health Directorate Mohamed Mansour, Head of the central administration of the General Federation of NGOs and Foundations Ayman Abdel Gawwad and Deputy Governor of Giza Hend Abdel-Aleem.

The development project falls within the framework of the foundation’s plan to support the health sector which is one of the most pressing issues for the Egyptian community.

The project also goes in line with the Sustainable Development Goal no 3 on Health and Welfare as well as the Egypt Vision 2030 which considers the health file as a top priority.

Director General of the Etisalat Foundation for community development and welfare Sarah Adel said the foundation places the health file at the top of its priorities in the current stage.

She said the foundation spared no effort to contribute to the development of the children department at Om El Masryeen Hospital, noting that the hospital benefited from the association’s expertise in developing medical services.

For his part, Deputy Board Chairman of Rnan said “Rnan highly appreciates cooperation with the Etisalat Foundation in the development of children department at Om El Masryeen Hospital. This underlines our interest in promoting children’s health so that the coming generation would enjoy good health.”

He stressed his belief in children as one of the pillars for building nations and realizing progress.

He said Rnan is pooling up all its potentials to attain this sublime goal.

The Etisalat Foundation for community development and welfare was established in 2013 to be the development arm of Etisalat Misr. The foundation places the heath sector development at the top of its priorities, especially as it is vital to the Egyptian community.
