The Ministry of lmmigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs launched “Kalem Masr” to be the first application for offering more services for Egyptians aboard.

Immigration Minister Nabila Makram said the new application underlines the state’s keenness on keeping in touch with Egyptian expats and offering all needed services for them.

She added that the application can be downloaded on all types of mobile phones.

The application can help expats have access to locations and phones of all Egyptian embassies worldwide via satellites, she said.

She added that there is a section for complaints where expats can send their complaints or any problem facing them and they will be able to get swift answers.

Moreover, the application includes the links of the housing, investment and higher education ministries to help Egyptian expats hold contact with them if they need.

The application also offers news service in Arabic and English. This service offers up-to-date news in addition to the ministry’s news in local and regional media.

The services section is the most important in this application as it offers many facilities to its users, including the investment map of the industrial sector in Egypt, housing guide for Egyptian expats, and guide for all digital services offered by the ministry for Egyptians abroad.

It also includes information about how expats can invest in dollar-denominated investment certificates in Egypt.

The application also has a section on common questions and “call us” service.

It also sends notifications for the users about  the issues that concern them.
