Semak launches initiatives to back cancer hospitals in Egypt

Semak cosmetics is gearing up to launch initiatives to promote donation to Bahya Hospital for breast cancer and the Children’s Cancer Hospital  57357 as well as supporting those affected by the coronavirus pandemic and people’s mental health.

Semak marketing chief Ahmed Deeb said the company spearheaded initiatives under the theme of “Penduline elixir of happiness”, noting that the company seeks to spread happiness among Egyptian people.

He added that taking care of people’s mental health and alleviating  stress would help boosting people’s immunity to confront the coronavirus and this is what doctors recommended.

Under the two initiatives aiming to support Bahya Hospital and 57357 Hospital, the company will purchase appratus to help the two hospitals accomplish their mission in helping patients.

The company also plans to arrange a fun day for cancer patients at the two hospitals, he added.

He said the 2021 initiatives – to be launched under the theme of “Penduline elixir of happiness” – are deemed the best for governmental and private companies to activate their role in serving society, noting that this  should be one of the main goals of the companies, especially in such extraordinary conditions.

He voiced hope that 2021 would a year of happinness, urging all governmental and private insititutions to joing hands to metigate the impact of the coronavirus on the whole world, especially on Egyptians.

He noted that the company has given the go ahead to several corporate social responsibility initiatives to  buttress those affected by the pandemic.
