Zamzam: We launched 15 medical, development initiatives in 5 years

Chairman of the board of trustees of the Sona3 ElKhair Foundation Moustafa Zamzam said the foundation has launched 15 initiatives during the past five years in the medical and development domains.

Zamzam said the initiative of healthy foot – which was launched during the 12th Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development (12th CSR Forum) – is meant to support help for millions of needy patients suffering from diabetic foot.

The initiative is spearheaded within the framework of the presidential initiative Decent Life and under the patronage of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, he said, noting that the overture is under the supervision of the Social Solidarity Ministry.

He added that the initiative has already been launched in a number of university hospitals in several governorates, including the Azhar University hospital in Assiut and Demerdash hospital.

 Zamzam referred to the launch of several health initiatives for eradicating hepatitis virus C, addressing visual impairment and the 100 Million Health initiative.

He also noted that “For Egypt” initiative which is implemented by Sona3 ElKheir in tandem with the Commercial Investment Bank (CIB) and CSR Egypt is meant to provide most important medical services for primary and preparatory school students.
