HP is moving ahead to have carbon-free Managed Print Service 2025 within the framework of its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

HP has pledged to continue to move toward a sustainable future for printing that is forest positive, carbon neutral and supportive of a circular economy.

By reducing carbon emissions across HP entire value chain and investing in carbon offsets, the company is stepping up to address the lifetime carbon footprint of every HP print solution.

HP now has the planet’s most comprehensive carbon neutral Managed Print Service offering for HP-branded devices, making it simple for customers to advance climate change goals and be more productive   ̶  without business disruption.

The company is  more than halfway to achieving its science-based goal of reducing product use greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 30% by 2025.

HP is one of only eight companies to receive a triple-A rating from CDP –  an organization based in the United Kingdom which supports companies and cities to disclose the environmental impact of major corporations – for its work across climate change, forests, and water security.

HP continues to move toward a sustainable future for printing that is forest positive, carbon neutral, and supportive of a circular economy. For example, through the Sustainable Forests Collaborative, the company is working to protect, restore and manage more than 200,000 acres of forests in Brazil and China.

According to the 2019 HP Sustainable Impact Report, the company sourced more than 1 million pounds of ocean-bound plastic for use in its products, and it is on track with it plans to increase recycled content in its products to 30% by 2025.

HP also intends to eliminate 75% of single-use plastic from our packaging over the next five years.

Pursuing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, HP has managed to reach more than 28 million students, teachers, and adult learners through its educational programs and partnerships. The company is seeking to enable better learning outcomes for 100 million people by 2025.

During this unprecedented time, businesses large and small are working in new ways. HP is acting with urgency on all fronts to safeguard its planet, respond to the ongoing pandemic, and protect the health and wellbeing of people everywhere.
