The Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt (ABK) extended donations to the Ibrahim A. Badran Charitable Foundation to promote children’s health in most needy Egyptian governorates.

This action stems from the bank’s belief in the importance of backing humanitarian initiatives.

This also goes in line with the bank’s strategy aiming at promoting its corporate social responsibility role, especially through cooperation with social institutions to support and develop various sectors to build more healthy and prosperous Egyptian community.

The bank has donated for the foundation’s initiative “Our Children, Our Future” under which 10 medical convoys will be conducted in 10 vulnerable villages in Qaliobiya governorate this year.

The initiative will support 7,000 patients and spread awareness among 8,000 people about means of upgrading health services in the villages.

The foundation was established in 2014 with an aim to provide health services and medicine for poor people through launching several health initiatives in needy villages in various Egyptian governorates.

The foundation has five mobile clinics in addition to medically-equipped vehicles to reach the largest number of patients nationwide.

Within the past seven years, the foundation dispatched more than 325 medical convoys to 120 villages in 16 governorates. More than 340,000 patients underwent checkup in rural areas.
