B.Tech Board Chairman Mahmoud Khatib said the company has injected about EGP 100 million on corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities over the past five years.

In statements to CSR, he said the company is deeply interested in playing a social role and adopting several social initiatives in tandem with civil society organizations, like the Egyptian Food Bank, Egyptian Cure Bank, Egyptian Clothing Bank, and Decent Life Bank.

He noted that the coronavirus pandemic has largely encouraged people to buy things online.

He added that the culture of online purchase has been welcomed in the Egyptian society, especially among youths.

He stressed that Egypt is a promising market at all levels and it can absorb more investments.
