Five protocols serving social and sustainable development goals were inked at the 12th Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development (12th CSR Forum).

Millions will be injected into these protocols to contribute to achieving sustainable development.

The first protocol “Egypt’s children are future of Egypt” – with EGP 12 million finance – is meant to offer medical help for school children in the primary and preparatory stages.

The second protocol aims at training small and medium sized non-governmental associations and spreading awareness among volunteers about environmental and sustainability projects.

The third protocol – at EGP 24 million financing – is meant to support traditional handicrafts in the Upper Egypt governorate of Aswan. The Social Solidarity Ministry will offer EGP 12 million for bankrolling the protocol, while Sonaa El Kheir Foundation will pay the other half of the financing.

The fourth protocol is meant to offer treatment for needy diabetic foot patients nationwide, with EGP 15 million financing to be offered by the Ministry of Social Solidarity.

The fifth protocol is meant to secure decent housing through establishing 3,000 housing units at EGP 600 million.
