Adel Hassan, Chairman of the Hassan Group for Trade, Industry and Contracting – an affiliate to Kuwait’s AMHT Group, asserted that Kuwait’s investments in Egypt aim at promoting sustainable and socially responsible actions.

He noted that the group contributed to establishing seven Japanese schools, referring also to cooperation with the Egyptian Housing Ministry for implementing several projects.

The company is interested in supporting education and universities, he said.

He added that the group contributed to establishing the largest aluminum smelting plant in Egypt and reclaiming 100 feddans in the desert.

Hassan said the company is giving a top priority to environmental sustainability in all its projects.

He made the remarks upon the launch of the group’s first real estate project in Egypt whose sales expected to hit EGP 800 million.
