Tahya Misr Fund earmarks EGP 80m for 1st fund for supporting handicapped

The executive committee of Tahya Misr Fund decided to allocate EGP 80 million for establishing the first charity investment fund for supporting the disabled.

The decision was taken during the committee meeting under its chairperson Sahar Nasr.

The fund is also gearing up to secure more dialysis units for children in the coming period within the framework of the presidential initiative to secure 1000 dialysis units in poor areas to alleviate the suffering of kidney patients.

The fund is also preparing to furnish 6,000 housing units in Asmarat and Mahrousa cities at a total cost of EGP 150 million to relocate residents in slum and life-threatening districts.
