The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will hold in Warsaw on June 4 its first business forum of major food retail companies in Europe, Asia and North Africa.

“Sustainable food retail: delivering shareholder value” is a networking event for CEOs and representatives of international, local and online retail chains to exchange the views of experts on sustainability, digital technologies and marketing.

The event will discuss how changing customer preferences, climate change and other socio-economic considerations influence operations and the retailers’ relationships with their suppliers and consumers.  It will also make the link between operating in this new environment in a professionally and socially responsible manner and creating long-term value for its shareholders.

The forum will explore leading insights on the prevailing sustainability issues for retailers in the region, the investor perspective on retail investment in a changing climate, breakout sessions on customer priorities, site operations and supply chain management and structured and informal business network sessions.

This event is supported by the TaiwanBusiness–EBRD Cooperation Fund.
